4,000 visits away from 50,000 readers
Tracks & Tales is now less than 4,000 visits away from 50,000 readers since I started this 8 months ago.
When I began, it was just a blank page, a few thoughts about listening culture, and a feeling that maybe people still wanted slower, more meaningful experiences around music.
I think what feels different now is not the number itself.
It is realising that as more people arrive, the platform asks for more focus from me too. More care. More attention to detail. More thought about what stays in and what does not.
Because people are no longer just reading it. They are building small routines around it.
That means something to me.
Rafi Mercer writes about the spaces where music matters.
