New York takes the global top position for the first time — two hundred and seventeen views, its third consecutive best month. Kyoto slips to second at a hundred and fifty-six after holding the lead since the chart began.

Lisbon stays on the podium at a hundred and twenty-five, with Barcelona and Osaka a breath behind. Columbus posts eighty-eight — now the second most-read American city, ahead of Los Angeles. Copenhagen recovers to a hundred and eleven.

The map keeps widening: a hundred and sixteen cities this month, up from seventy-one, with the United States alone carrying fifty-four and the United Kingdom growing from two to six via Leeds, Wakefield, Norwich, Plymouth and Bootle.

FAQs

How is this different from a city guide directory? It isn't a directory — it's a readership chart. Every city here is one readers actively sought out and spent time with this month. It measures genuine curiosity about listening culture, not editorial selection.

Can I read the full guide for any of these cities? Yes — every entry links to the full city essay. Click any city name to read it.

What is The Listening Club? A global membership built around the culture these cities carry — one album a month, heard properly. Join here.
